I was all excited about this show and in the end I am finishing my entry after the initial deadline. Luckily there was an extension, so I can finish the image. I still have to color the extra picture.. though I think it will have to be done without any bg ;_;

I love seeing these entries you do for this. Just out of curiosity how do you go about doing the shadow in the ground? Do you just take the outline of the horse and distort it until it looks like it could be a shadow on the ground? This girl is just so pretty and I love the details in the face and tail.

Thank you :-). About the tail I do it exactly as you said - i am creating a new layer, set it in multiply mode and then blurr it a bit, to gain better effects.
