After seeing all these lovely illustrations of yours I feel like I would love to read Daresta's story. I like the emotion in this piece and it makes me wonder what is happening in this scene. Again the colors and background characters feel like it's a watercolor piece. 
However since I don't know the story it's a little hard to offer a suggestion, but I'll try. The lady in front is she angry at the elven heroine or is there something happening beside the horse? If she's mad at the heroine then it might come across a little easier if she was looking at the heroine. But then again I could be wrong.
